AMD Says Most Avid gamers Do not Care About GPU Energy Consumption

In an interview with Club386, AMD’s Scott Herkelman shared perception into the corporate’s notion of GPU energy consumption and the way it believes players prioritize energy consumption of their graphics playing cards. Based on Herkleman, AMD believes GPU energy consumption is necessary within the laptop computer phase. He goes on to notice that whereas some players care about energy effectivity, most players do not care in any respect.
