Taiwan and the European Union plan to strengthen financial and diplomatic relationships in a bid to deepen collaboration in making the semiconductors provide chain extra resilient than it’s at present, reviews Nikkei. TSMC is at present assessing a possible fab in Europe, however no ultimate determination has been made. Upgraded diplomatic affairs will affect financial relationships and will affect TSMC’s plan to construct a fab within the EU. 

The European Union is the biggest supply of international investments in Taiwan.
